Vampires
Vampires have been sighted for many years. Starting off as a folklore in the Viking Era, the sightings became more and more. Many people began to see them as the army of Loki, the trickster. What struck out however, was the way they seemed to have the power of their Gods and many people believed it to be Ragnarok. Armageddon in Viking Norse. However, that was certainly not the case and the number of vampires began to increase like vermin. The origins of the demonic being is to believed to have originated from Scandinavia. Who, where and when still remains a mystery. Supernatural beings now locked in this alternate universe believe them to be walking amongst them.
Like the Vetala, they need blood to sustain them otherwise they will grow weak. They inject their fangs into the victim and begin to suck the blood of course. Unlike the Vetala, they do not possess venom so they rely on a certain trick which probably causes the debate that vampires are smarter hunters than Vetalas and that is mainly the mind compulsion. Some vampires are affected by a rare state which are mainly referred to as the ''ripper virus.''. They are ravenous freaks under the illusion that once they start feeding, they cannot stop. This is usually caused by a trauma before they have died.
Vampires and Vetalas are natural enemies. They battle for territory, food, everything. They fight for the want to be the dominant species'.
Vampires, like Vetalas, have heightened abilities that make them dangerous. The older the vampire and the more it feeds, the more it is skilled in its abilities. The one thing that is unique for the vampires is their ability to turn off their emotions.
Daylight rings are required for them to walk in the sun otherwise they are forever slaves to it. One downfall that the vampire has, is their weakness to Vetala venom which can paralyse them for days on end unless it is reversed. As well as werewolf venom.

Witches
From the beginning, we've heard tales of witches with their wands, taking flight upon broomsticks. Myths, yes, though not the concept as an entirety.
Witches have been around since the 13th century. Atleast that's what the history books say. It is likely that they have been around for much longer, living in peace until others had decided to out them as the demon, using black magic to turn the world into evil.
In truth, witches aren't the only users of magic. Magic is a vast concept, within ever supernatural being and roaming the hallways of our earth. It is something which can be crafted by any, though witches are those born with the magic within their veins, as well as the ability to manipulate the magic within the world. The magic begins to show, in witches, when they are around five years old; appearing uncontrollable and casing for them to do reckless things. The witch must then learn to tame the magic within them and along with this, the usage of the magic within the world will come with ease.
Magic can be used, by witches, for any command which they will have, except for altering the past or the future and depending upon the strength, in magic, which they possess.
Frequent usage of magic for dark deeds (black magic) often has consequences upon the witch, such as a loss of ability to perform magic (removed by the higher powers) or death, in extreme cases.
Humans too, are able to use magic (See Humans below), though with several limitations.

Humans The humans brought to the alternate universe are those whom practice the art of using magic. Magic is a vast concept, within ever supernatural being and roaming the hallways of our earth. It is something which can be crafted by any and several humans had taken to learning the ability.
Since humans do not possess magic within them, the magic within the world is their tool. Those whom are able to often remove magic from certain aspects of the world, storing it within a wand crafted from the wood of Paper Birch trees, thus making the usage of magic easier. Humans are unable to perform large spells, such as teleportation and forms of manipulation, thus stick to smaller spells, for everyday usage. Often, humans whom attempt to use magic to larger extents are over exerting themselves and this may possibly result in death.

Werewolves
Werewolves are a craft of the witches. The first werewolf was created as a curse, by a witch within the 1700's, as a form of punishment for her husband's infidelity. It was a curse so well formed that there was no reverse effect, though the creator hadn't been prepared for the spreading of the curse, using it to her advantage as an army, when she found out of it.
Werewolves morph into wolves upon the night of the full moon, this day having been chosen as the creator of the curse wasn't all that cruel, deciding that the mood would be a lighting path to the road home. The transition, however, is painstaking, the snapping of bones and feel as though their brain is undergoing an aneurysm. The wolf form lasts from moonrise till sunrise, when the transition back to human is often painless and the werewolf usually passes out for a significant amount of time.
During their time as a wolf, they are often uncontrollable and filled with rage. Rage is a quality which werewolves possess while in their human forms, also, though a diluted version. As wolves, they are wild and dangerous and there is nothing to stop them from harming loved ones.
When enraged, in human form, their eyes flash a yellow colour and seldom do their fangs show. Werewolves have a venom which is poisonous to vampires and hold a large amount of magic, which is often used by humans, when they are able to get their hands upon a vile or too.
Werewolves possess extreme strength, enhanced vision, smell and hearing, both as humans and in wolf form. Weaknesses of werewolves are shrill, intensified sounds, as well as their loss of control while in wolf form, vetala venom and silver.
There is a legend which speaks of something which is able to end the curse, a cure, though no one has come across it, to this date.

Dedemitan
When a supernatural dies, they resort to a human form with extra abilities, such as teleporting, the ability to enter people's minds within dreams. They are now known as Dedemitan, an immortal species which will remain in such a state for eternity, unless they find peace and choose to move on. Other than their abilities, they have all the qualities of humans, except death.
Should a supernatural character die, they will automatically become a Dedemitan and this is irreversible.
However, should a human die, they will not become a Dedemitan and their only option for coming back would be to place them within the body of another living being, a spell which can be performed by a witch.

Vetala
Vetala are a snake-like being, within a human form. The first sightings of the kind had been around the 1800s, being termed as demons, characteristics of which many Vetala often possessed. They are born as such, within the gene which each would possess, some being a result of two Vetala (thus purebloods of the race) or a Vetala and a human (this half-bloods of the race). Their appearance is no different from the average human, apart from their enhanced features, a predatory effect in order to lure prey in.
Vetala feed upon blood, mainly from humans, though any form of blood may sustain them for a limited period of time. Failure to feed may result in mummification and should one be left within that state for too long a period of time, disintegration. When they feed, their eyes take on a snake-eye appearance, accompanied by infrared vision in their crazed, blood thirsty state and fangs. Prior to the action, their bite inserts a paralyzing venom into the body of their victim. The venom has varying effects on different species (works best on humans and very little on vampires, for example) and is void in action upon another Vetala. Their actions tend to be agile, another predatory accessory.
Strengths of a Vetala are intensified speed, strength, smell, hearing and emotions. Weaknesses are the cold, loud noises and silver. Silver to the heart is the main form of killing one of this specie. Vetala tend to stick together in pairs, hunting together with a strong bond of loyalty between them. When Vetala have come together in pairs, as such, they form a mental bond, able to have unspoken communication with the other by feelings which indicate certain incidences (eg. One is able to tell when the other is in danger).
Vetala are immortal and are able to remain without intaking oxygen for long periods of time. They have the ability to choose the age at which they stop aging and, if will be, may resume the aging process at any time. The more a Vetala feeds and the older it gets, the stronger it becomes.

Sirens
Banished into the alternate universe eons ago, it's quite impossible to speak of their origination or first sighting, due to the fact that several still consider for these creatures to be a mere myth.
Siren's are the world's (or in this case, universe's) most dangerous specie of supernatural. Their severely enhanced abilities and few weaknesses leave them at both the top of the food and power chain.
Siren's are immortal, as well as have the ability to morph into the form of any creature, object, specie or person whom they wish to. Their original form, however, is that of a preying sea creature, yet many choose to stay in human form.
It is said that a long, long time ago, a siren learned of it's ability to not only morph into a human form as a mechanism for capturing their prey, but also for as long as they willed, thus allowing for them to walk upon land and live amongst humans. Other sirens soon learnt of this and destruction was caused, thus leading to them being banished.
Siren's appear as a deadly beautiful, which is their preying mechanism. They possess enchanted voices which could lure anyone within their grasps. Upon receiving their prey (all other species are sources of food to them), they usually proceed to kill it before devouring, possessing no fangs as their teeth are sharp enough for this task. They do not possess a venom either.
It is highly possible for a Siren to take on the form of a vampire and thus drink blood, or even a werewolf. What they are unable to do, however, is use magic, this being one of their downfalls. While every other specie is able to in some form, manipulate magic, should they learn the ability, sirens cannot. They themselves are a large source of magic and should they ever be truly found out, an extremely powerful witch may be able to draw the magic from them, thus leaving them merely human and should their age be too great, they would die. This is the only species which this can be done to and this is also their only weakness.
Sirens cannot be killed in any other way besides removing the magic which fuels them.
